Fire crews attended a blaze in the kitchen of The Morecambe Hotel & Restaurant this afternoon.
They were called to the address on Lord Street, at around 1:20pm.
Four appliances from Morecambe, Lancaster and Carnforth attended the incident, which involved a fryer.
Firefighters discovered the fire was out upon arrival but treated two casualties at the scene for effects of smoke inhalation.
Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
