A couple who recently opened a burger takeaway in Heysham have brought the business to Morecambe town centre after taking over a dessert cafe.
Daniel Humphreys and Mercedes Lee opened Cheeky Cow Burger and Fries on Heysham Road in September.
After two months of booming business, they have now taken over at Afters Dessert Parlour in Morecambe town centre, and moved Cheeky Cow in to the Euston Road premises.
Burgers AND desserts will now be available in the '50s diner-style Morecambe cafe, for both eating in and takeaway.
"I'm from Manchester originally and we have a lot of high quality burger places there," said Daniel, a former gas engineer.
"We felt we needed somewhere round here like that."

Cheeky Cow serves burgers, fries, hot dogs and chicken wings, while Afters serves waffles, crepes, gelato ice cream and cakes.
"We opened on Heysham Road two months ago and I thought at first that we'd tick over nicely," said Daniel.
"But the phones haven't stopped ringing!"
So the couple have taken out a 10-year lease at the bigger premises at Afters, after the previous owners retired, opening last Friday.
They have brought their Cheeky Cow staff from Heysham to work alongside the existing employees in Morecambe, 14 in total, and also plan to recruit.
"We will be running it in Morecambe as two separate businesses in one place," said Daniel.
"We will be half Afters and half Cheeky Cow, and I think it blends together well."

Mercedes, who previously worked at Morecambe Road School, specialises in children's entertainment and will be running kids' parties from the first floor at Euston Road.
The Cheeky Cow shop in Heysham has now closed, but the couple haven't ruled out reopening in future.
