Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to trace in connection with an attempted robbery in Lancaster.
The incident happened on the canal path near to the traffic lights of Penny Street on July 25.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was hit over the head causing him to fall over and sustain a leg injury.
A Lancaster Police spokesperson said: "We appreciate they aren't the clearest CCTV images, but we're hoping someone will recognise them.
"Anyone who does recognise either of the men pictured, witnessed the incident, or has information about it is asked to please contact 101 – quoting log 1509 of July 25."
