Residents are being urged to remain cautious as the unsettled weather continues.
Following Storm Eunice and with weather conditions remaining poor, Lancaster City Council has extended the opening times of their Customer service phone lines to 8pm to help support and reassure residents.
Anyone needing support due to the conditions can call 01524 582000.
Meanwhile local fire bosses say that there was only two weather related incidents due to Storm Eunice for Lancaster Fire Station to deal with, which both resulted in no injuries.
A spokesperson said: ''Unfortunately we now have more severe weather to come and a number of flood alerts have been issued for the local area.
''We are keeping a close eye on these and we’re working with partner agencies to ensure public safety.
''We would ask people to avoid low lying footpaths and do not walk through flood water.
'MIf you believe your house is at risk of flooding move valuable items onto upper floors or higher locations. If water is entering your property please try to isolate gas and electricity supplies if safe to do so.
''Avoid unnecessary journeys and do not drive through flood water.
''Only call 999 if you or someone else is in immediate danger. This helps us to prioritise incidents which need an immediate response.''
