The mayor of Carnforth has visited local schools to hand out commemorative Platinum Jubilee coins to pupils.
Councillor Chris Smith visited Carnforth Community Primary, Christchurch Primary and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary schools to present the coins and other items of memorabilia.
A spokesperson for Carnforth Town Council said: "It was great morning with the children getting the opportunity to ask questions about the Queen, Carnforth Town Council and the Town Mayor's age!"
Coins were given to all children at Our Lady of Lourdes and Christchurch, with some being left for children not at school on that day. At Carnforth Community Primary, Key Stage 2 pupils were given the option to have a Platinum Jubilee water bottle or a coin.
