Police looking for a man from Carnforth in relation to two assaults in the county earlier this month have made an arrest.
A 33-year-old man from Carnforth has this afternoon (April 12) been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 Assault (GBH). He remains in custody.
The assaults happened in the early hours of April 2nd when an 18-year-old man was struck on the head from behind suffering a cut and a fractured skull.
The victim then saw a second man struck to the head. This victim is currently unknown to the police and there is an appeal for them to come forward.
The incidents both happened in Accrington.
