Bus users in the Lancaster and Morecambe area have been facing further disruption due to service cancellations and re-routing.
Bus operator Stagecoach has announced a number of services will not be running today (October 29).
They are:
The number 41 Morecambe to Preston 09.31, 15.31
41 Preston to Lancaster 11.35, 17.35
41 Lancaster to Morecambe 15.04
1A University to Lancaster 09.48, 18.08
1A Heysham Towers to University 08.30, 16.50
100 Lancaster to Morecambe 11.00
100 Morecambe to SW Campus 13.12
100 SW Campus to Lancaster Bus Station 14.23
A number of local services were also cancelled yesterday (October 28) and earlier in the week due to staff shortages.
There have also been a number of bus diversions in place due to roadworks or traffic issues in the Lancaster and Morecambe area.
The George Street bus stop in Lancaster city centre (near the police station) is currently closed due to roadworks by Electricity North West (see picture below).

The stop will be closed until November 18.
Bus services which usually come off Thurnham Street onto George Street are continuing before turning onto King Street, omitting Spring Garden Street and George Street.
Bus users are advised to board the services at Queen Square (towards Morecambe) or Common Garden Street (towards the university).
The closure means that the number 18 East City Circular bus is not stopping at the Common Garden Street stop on outbound journeys as it would usually.
Customers are advised to board at Lancaster Bus Station or at a temporary bus stop on Nelson Street. Inbound journeys will be diverted via Thurnham Street and King Street.
Bus services on Greaves Road and Scotforth Road (1, 1A, 40, 41, 42) heading towards Lancaster city centre have also been diverted through Bowerham this week, to avoid traffic congestion caused by roadworks on South Road.
The 33 Bare Circular service is also being diverted until November 1 due to roadworks on Beaufort Road in Morecambe.
And the number 55 service was diverted via the Bay Gateway and Caton Road earlier this week (until October 28) as Slyne Road was closed for roadworks by St Luke's school, affecting stops on Slyne Road, Barley Cop Lane, Vale Road and Beaumont Bridge.
