Beyond Radio is delighted to be hosting The Big Family Day Out at Highest Point festival once again - with a diverse range of local and national performers on the main stage.
The Big Family Day Out will return to the popular annual music and arts festival at Williamson Park in Lancaster on Sunday May 12.
The Beyond Radio team will be hosting the main stage for the third year running and we can't wait!

After yet another sell-out year the Highest Point Big Family Day Out is back for 2024, ready and prepped for another jam-packed day of family fun at an affordable price for all.
Among the acts on stage will be internet sensation MC Grammar - rapping teacher and World Book Day Hero, fresh from his recent tour and Little Voices appearances. Joining MC Grammar will be Scottish legends, Peat & Diesel, with their infectious Celtic rock, Cumbrian 5-piece, The Moonshine Shakers as well as local heroes Molly Warburton and George Lawson, and of course, the family day just wouldn’t be the family day without our friends from Stagecoach Performing Arts.

Elsewhere in the park, there will be some returning favourites from last year: the Dinosaurs of Lancaster area and the roaming Transformers characters courtesy of Don’t Panic, the Award-winning baby and toddler music sensory classes from Hartbeeps; as well as the amazing Drum Machine bringing performances and workshops for 2024.
However, alongside the returning favourites, there will also be loads of new things for the little ones to do.
The World Owl Trust will be bringing some of the majestic birds for the kids to come and learn about; there will be archery set up for the kids to test their aim courtesy of Outdoor Elements; a relaxing headphone story time session with A Word In Your Ear; and also Rhubarb Theatre’s Bombardiers and Admirals shows or PIF PAF Theatre’s new show TOAST, it will be a hoot for the whole family.
With a new sports area, green screen photos and lots more around the park it promises a great day out for everyone in Williamson Park this May.
Tickets go on sale via Skiddle at 9:30am tomorrow (March 21) and cost £15 for Adults and £10 for Children (5-16), with under 5’s going free.
Highest Point festival will run from Friday May 10 to Sunday May 12.

Already announced – Busted and Tom Odell will headline on the main stage, while other acts on the line up include Sam Ryder, Cat Burns, Caity Baser, DJ Gok Wan and The Cuban Brothers.
