LISTEN: Country-pop singer to release debut album after home town gig in Lancaster

Amy Jo

A rising country music singer-songwriter is planning her debut album hot on the heels of a return to perform in Lancaster.

Amy Jo will perform at the Gregson Centre Olive Bar on Saturday October 18 as part of her 'Friends You Meet Along the Way' UK tour.

Next year she will release her first album, following the success of her 'Songs from the Bay EP' in 2023, which included singles regularly played on Beyond Radio 'Coming Close', 'February 14th' and 'Caught Me on a Bad Day'.

Amy Jo was also backed by the public in an online vote to perform at the upcoming Keep it Country festival in London later this month.

She has joined The Christians for multiple shows across the UK, including The Stables early 2024, and supported Scouting For Girls, Heaven 17, Rick Astley and Stooshe, to name but a few.

Amy Jo has also opened for the accredited Luke Combs UK Tribute, playing the iconic Barrowlands in Glasgow.

She will be supported by Ayla Schofield and Owen Morton for the Gregson gig.
