Ryan Wallace and his new bar Shore Thing in Morecambe

A Morecambe barber will open his new bar overlooking the Bay this Friday (December 15).

Ryan Wallace will open the doors of Shore Thing, his new bar on the corner of Marine Road Central and Euston Road.

Ryan has also moved his barber shop into the upper floor of the premises, which was most recently home to a GoBurrito restaurant and before that, a Greenwoods menswear store.

Shore Thing will open with a weekend of live music, starting with rock duo Fuse on Friday, then electronic indie trio Good Boy Nikko perform on Saturday.

The barber shop, previously known as Fella's, moved from 303 Marine Road Central last month.

Ryan has also worked at Colin Brown Gents Hairdressers and The Temperance Club barber shop in Morecambe.

His is also well-known as a musician, most notably as lead guitarist with Morecambe band The Heartbreaks who had worldwide success during the 2010s.
