The closure of a discount bakery shop in Lancaster city centre has been announced.
Poundbakery at 22 Penny Street will close on Saturday August 30.
A sign in the shop window says: "This shop will be closed from the end of Saturday 30th August. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your support."
Poundbakery is a chain specialising in savoury products such as pies, sausage rolls and sandwiches, as well as doughnuts and muffins, with prices at the cheaper end of the scale.
The chain's tagline is "tasty baking at tasty prices".
